WINNIPEG - The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have shuffled their deck at quarterback, trading a conditional draft pick in 2015 to Hamilton for Brian Brohm.

The Bombers also released Justin Goltz.

Brohm is a former second-round NFL draft pick of the Green Bay Packers who signed with the Tiger-Cats last spring but spent all last season on the injured list.

The 6-foot-3, 230-pound, 28-year-old out of Louisville started two games for the Buffalo Bills, one each in 2009 and 2010, before his NFL road ended.

Brohm also spent time in the UFL, where he backed up Chase Clement, who had a tryout with Winnipeg last year.
