WINNIPEG - One day well down the road, CFL historians might look back and go, “Wow, at one time the Bombers had Kyle Walters, Danny McManus and Ted Goveia all on the same staff.”

Or they could just end up being three more names that have come and gone through the Manitoba capital, added to the long list of those who were unable to end the CFL’s longest Grey Cup drought.

Walters is a rookie GM, while McManus and Goveia, who were introduced to the Winnipeg media on Tuesday, are rookie assistant GMs. They are all relatively new to their respective positions, but McManus believes they will find strength through teamwork. Another bonus is they've all been around the CFL for a while — some longer than others.

“This is a great challenge for all of us, and we’re all in it together,” the Canadian Football Hall of Fame quarterback said. “So it’s nice that it’s just not one guy coming in who has never done it before. We're all in a spot we’ve never done before, but it's a spot that we bring some credibility and we bring some experience to that we can help with each other."
