WINNIPEG - If the hits keep coming for Max Hall like they have lately, at least his body cast should be off in time for next year’s training camp.

The Bombers have allowed only one sack in their last three games, but Hall has taken several big hits just as he’s released the ball. He was so banged up after Saturday’s 26-20 loss to the Argos that he had to spend time with the team doctor instead of doing a post-game media session.

“We’re taking too many hits,” head coach Tim Burke said Tuesday.

Which sounds a little odd considering the Bombers have been doing so well in the sacks allowed department. The offensive line has been better than it was early in the season, but it still has a ways to go.
