Max Hall will start his second straight game at quarterback for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers this week.

The Bombers made the announcement as the team returned to practice today, signaling Hall has the support of new offensive co-ordinator Marcel Bellefeuille, at least for now.

Hall made his CFL debut at home against Hamilton, Friday, completing 18 of 30 passes for 241 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions, as the Bombers fell to 1-6 with a 37-18 loss.

He’ll face the same team in Guelph, Saturday afternoon, with veteran Buck Pierce the No. 2 quarterback and Justin Goltz at No. 3.

The choice of Hall appears to fly in the face of Bellefeuille’s desire to have the quarterback roll out more, as he is the least mobile of the three.
