WINNIPEG - This is one of those games where the Bombers should look ahead and be concerned.

The Bombers battle the Toronto Argonauts on Friday night at Investors Group Field, and winning would be a good idea for the Blue and Gold. Because if they don’t beat the Boatmen, they will be staring directly at a potential 1-5 record going into their bye week.

The Bombers host the Calgary Stampeders next Friday, and then they travel to B.C. to take on the Lions during the August long weekend. Those are a couple of tough matches.

So when you see Terrence Edwards, Chris Matthews, Chris Cvetkovic, Bryant Turner, JT Gilmore, Terrell Parker and Kito Poblah are all on the injured list, it doesn’t look overly promising for the Bombers on Friday night.

The Bombers, of course, are not putting any more importance on Friday’s clash than they would any other.
