WINNIPEG - Many were wondering out loud: When's the last time the Bomber defence played as well as it did on Thursday night in Montreal?

Well, it turns out the answer is seven years ago.

Winnipeg gave up 122 yards of total offence to the Alouettes on Thursday, which was the sixth best performance in the last 18 seasons. The last time it allowed so few yards was on July 28, 2006, when the Bombers blanked the Hamilton Tiger-Cats 29-0 at Ivor Wynne Stadium.
