WINNIPEG - There's nothing like that new stadium smell, and Markus Howell is a big fan of it.

The Bombers' receivers coach was in his brand new office at the brand new Investors Group Field last week when members of the Winnipeg Sun popped by on their tour of the football operations department.

"Phenomenal," Howell said. "It's a great environment to teach in. Technology's been upgraded. Our film's in HD. We've got enough rooms and space. I have my own meeting room for the receivers now. We're not sharing it. And I'm not sharing an office as a coach with (defensive line coach) Will Plemons anymore."

Every assistant coach has his own office in addition to his own meeting room. There's also a boardroom, a theatre-style room with 100 seats, a players' lounge, a locker-room that is 1,200 square feet bigger than its predecessor, and a training room and a weight room that are more than double the size of the ones that were at Canad Inns Stadium.
