WINNIPEG - You can add another name to the list of quarterbacks who potentially could be taking part in Bombers training camp this June.

According to a CFL source, the Blue and Gold were planning to work out former Louisville Cardinals quarterback Brian Brohm this week. Brohm, who played with former Bomber pivot Stefan LeFors at Louisville, spent last season as the backup with the United Football League’s Las Vegas Locomotives.

The Bombers are in quarterback limbo thanks to Buck Pierce’s injury woes, so they’re examining all of their options going into training camp. Some of the other QBs they’ve been looking at are Chase Clement, who was the starter ahead of Brohm in Las Vegas last season, former LSU pivot Jarrett Lee and ex-Arizona Cardinals starter Max Hall.

The Bombers have four quarterbacks under contract, including Pierce, Joey Elliott, Alex Brink and Justin Goltz.

What do you think of the name 'RedBlacks' for the new Ottawa CFL franchise?
  It's awful
  Guess it works
Meh, I don't follow the CFL
  Best name yet
