Bombers sign ex-Colts RB By QMI Agency

WINNIPEG - The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have signed NFL-tested running back Chad Simpson.

Simpson signed with the Indianapolis Colts in 2008. He played 25 games over two seasons. He was then picked up by the Buffalo Bills in 2010, but didn't play any games before he was waived and picked up by the Washington Redskins. He appeared in three games there before being released July 28, 2011.

In college, Simpson set the Morgan State single-season rushing record with 1,402 yards in his senior year.
