WINNIPEG - The Winnipeg Blue Bombers welcomed Northern Alabama running back Mike McLendon to practice Monday morning.

McLendon will replace running back Alex Henderson, who was cut, on the practice roster for now.

With some open spots on the practice roster due to injuries, the Bombers are expecting receiver Alex Watson, who was in training camp, to return and go on PR.

Not practising Monday were: cornerback Jovon Johnson (hip pointer), receivers Terrence Edwards (ribs) and Kito Poblah (knee), safety Brady Browne, whose left arm is in a sling, and linebacker Clint Kent.

Quarterback Buck Pierce, who took an hellacious hit during the win over Hamilton, took part in the full practice.
