The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have alleviated their glut of long snappers and added two draft picks in one fell swoop.

The Bombers on Thursday traded long snapper Taylor Inglis to the Edmonton Eskimos, who released him last year, in exchange for two picks in this year's draft. They are fifth- and sixth-round selections.

The Bombers nearly doubled their number of draft picks with the trade, going from three to five.

The Bombers scooped up Inglis last season after losing Chris Cvetkovic to a season-ending knee injury in the pre-season.
