The Winnipeg Blue Bombers signed import wide receiver Vincent Marshall yesterday.
Marshall, who also has experience as a punt and kick returner, appeared in five games with the Saskatchewan Roughriders in 2008 and another three in 2007 after attending training camp with the NFL's Atlanta Falcons.
The former star at the University of Houston went to training camp with the Calgary Stampeders in 2009, but the 27-year-old from Ennis, Tex. didn't crack the roster.
The Blue Bombers also released import receiver Otis Amey, a 29-year-old who had 13 catches for 188 yards in four games last season.
