Stefan LeFors' season is over.
The Winnipeg Blue Bombers placed their former starting quarterback on the nine-game injured list on Thursday morning.
LeFors underwent an MRI on his right shoulder (his non-throwing arm) on Tuesday.
It's not known if he will require surgery.
LeFors believes he originally hurt his shoulder in the season-opening game, and he may have aggravated it when he took a thunderous hit from Hamilton linebacker Otis Floyd in July.
Even though it was his right shoulder that was hurting, the left-hander struggled on the field and was replaced as the team's starter on Aug. 1.
