Despite being in Winnipeg for only five days, Michael Bishop has officially been named the Bomber starter for Saturday's game in Toronto against the Argos.

Bishop, who is taking over for the struggling Stefan LeFors, was brought in to ignite a struggling Bomber offence that produced just 123 yards of total offence in last week's 19-5 loss to the Boatmen.

"I feel comfortable in the game plan," Bishop said. "It's a good game plan, and we're going to go out and attack."

The hard-throwing Bishop spent six-and-a-half seasons in Toronto, mostly as a backup, before being traded to Saskatchewan last August.

He started in his first week with the Roughriders last year, which coincidentally was against the Bombers in the Labour Day Classic.
