Bombers head coach Mike Kelly was asked if he had any interest in Arland Bruce, whom the Argos are trying to trade but will likely end up releasing. He didn't say yes, but he didn't say no, either.

"I'm very happy with the players that I have here right now, thank you," Kelly said.

MAKING MOVES: The Bombers are going back to using the CFL minimum of 20 Canadians for tonight's clash with the Boatmen.

Going on the roster are import linebacker Derrick Doggett and receiver-returner Craphonso Thorpe. Coming off are import receiver Adarius Bowman (hip flexor) and Canadian defensive end Shawn Mayne. The Bombers played with 21 Canadians and 18 imports in last week's loss to Hamilton.

DAUPHIN WINS: Dauphin is Manitoba's big winner in TSN's Kraft Celebration Tour. The western Manitoba city will receive $25,000 that will go towards completing new playing fields at the Vermillion Park Sportsplex.

In addition, TSN will broadcast Sportscentre, starring Jennifer Hedger and Darren Dutchyshen, live from Dauphin on Friday, Aug. 28. Dauphin became the Manitoba champ by beating Winnipeg in online voting.
