The Winnipeg Blue Bombers acquired import offensive lineman Thaddeus Coleman from the Edmonton Eskimos on Monday for cornerback Willie Amos.

Coleman is a 6-foot-8, 308-pound tackle who played at Mississippi Valley State. He joined the Eskimos in September and spent the rest of the season on their practice roster.

Amos joined the Blue and Gold last season and a solid rookie season. He had one interception and a team-leading seven pass knockdowns. He had missed most of Bomber training camp with an injury and appeared unlikely to make the team anyway.

Amos was heavily involved with the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation during his short time in Winnipeg.
