The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have re-signed Canadian running back Daryl Stephenson, the CIS's all-time leading rusher.

The Bombers drafted Stephenson in the third round last year, and he finished the season with the Blue and Gold in October after playing his last game with the Windsor Lancers.

Stephenson had nine carries for 19 yards and two receptions for 12 yards in limited action with the Blue and Gold. He won the Hec Crighton Award in 2006 and finished his illustrious collegiate career with a record 5,163 rushing yards.

And as the Sun reported last week, defensive back Kelly Malveaux has re-signed with the Bombers. The team made it official yesterday.
