Today

Montreal at Winnipeg , 1 p.m. CBC

Bender: There has been a lot of grumbling and ruffling of feathers in the Popp Star's Birdsville this year while the Big Blue Berry simply has the better side. Then again, anything can happen in the playoffs, just remember 2001. Bombers.

Penton: It's windy, so Charles Roberts will run all over the Alouettes today and lead the Blue and Gold to victory. Bombers.

Friesen: This game should reflect the general direction these two teams are going. Or else there's trouble in Bomberland. Winnipeg.

Wyman's coin flip: Alouettes.

Calgary at Saskatchewan, 4 p.m. CBC

Bender: The headless(?) Horsemen ride into Regina with a lame-duck head coach and the whole outfit in a shambles. Not to mention the fact the Stamps have yet to win a game beyond the Alberta border. Stone Cold Kent Austin must be rubbing his hands in glee. Riders.

Penton: The road team has won this game two years in a row, but the Stamps are in too much disarray to have a hope. Riders.

Friesen: This year's Team Dysfunction could salvage a bust of a season, but let's hope the Riders keep the Green dream alive. Riders.

Wyman's coin flip: Riders.
