Bomber receiver Terrence Edwards was the most dangerous receiver as he caught four passes for 103 yards in a game where his teammates dropped at least four catchable passes.

TOP DEFENSIVE PLAYER

Bomber linebacker Barrin Simpson anchored a great effort from the defence, that limited the effectiveness of Hamilton running back Jesse Lumsden and quarterback Richie Williams. Simpson recorded 11 defensive tackles.

TOP SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER

Much-maligned kicker Troy Westwood was pressed into double duty when punter Rob Pikula went down and came through. He averaged 56.7 yards on seven punts, including an 85-yard missile, a pair of field goals, including the winner from 14 yards. The only glitch was getting one punt blocked.

KEY PLAY

Cornerback Juran Bolden dove to snag a Williams pass at the Hamilton four. Originally ruled incomplete, a Bomber challenge gave Bolden the interception. Bolden rolled to the Hamilton four after the pick to set up a one-yard touchdown run by Charles Roberts to pull Winnipeg to within 19-18. On the next series, Westwood booted the winning field goal.

SMACK OF THE MATCH

Bomber safety Kyries Hebert laid the lumber on slotback Jo Jo Walker, knocking his helmet off.

HIGHLIGHT REEL

Bomber slotback Arjei Franklin made a circus catch, reaching back to grab a throw from Kevin Glenn, and swinging it through his legs while jumping, then held on when he hit the ground for a 20-yard gain.
