Winnipeg Blue Bombers (2-1-1) 20

Montreal Alouettes (1-3) 18

TOP OFFENSIVE PLAYER

Anthony Calvillo's talents cannot be denied. The Als quarterback completed 33 of 38 passes for 354 yards and a touchdown.

TOP DEFENSIVE PLAYER

Bombers middle linebacker Barrin Simpson had eight tackles, including the game-saving tackle midway through the fourth quarter on a third-and-goal from the one, and a forced fumble.

TOP SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER

We're not sure if there's a limit on how many times you can win this honour, but it looks like Kyries Hebert is going to set the record. The Bombers safety had four special teams tackles and leads the league with 11.

KEY PLAY

With the Bombers leading 13-12, Winnipeg middle linebacker Barrin Simpson met Montreal tailback Robert Edwards on Winnipeg's one-yard line on third-and-goal with 9:27 left in the game, forcing the turnover.

HIGHLIGHT REEL

Alouettes receiver Ashlan Davis made a splendid, one-handed grab on a bullet from Anthony Calvillo in the second quarter with Bomber cornerback Davin Bush providing tight coverage.

HIT OF THE GAME

It wasn't between two players, but a player and a fence. Just after Greg Moss knocked down his first pass as a Bomber, he slammed face first into a fence five yards out of the end zone. Good thing he was wearing a helmet.
