The Winnipeg Blue Bombers will leave town this morning with 50 players who will take on the Hamilton Tiger-Cats tomorrow night at Ivor Wynne Stadium in the pre-season finale for both squads.

The game will give the starters who missed last week's exhibition opener, like quarterback Kevin Glenn, slotback Milt Stegall and running back Charles Roberts, a chance to find their legs for next Thursday's regular-season opener in Edmonton.

A few veterans, however, will sit tomorrow night's game out. Offensive linemen Obby Khan and Alex Gauthier aren't going due to illness and injury, respectively, while defensive back Kelly Malveaux and long snapper Chris Cvetkovic are healthy scratches.

Other injured players not making the trip include receivers Albert Johnson III, O'Neil Wilson and Adam Eckert, and defensive tackle Jon Oosterhuis.

The Bombers must declare their 46-man roster, plus seven practice roster players, by 10:59 p.m. on Saturday.
