- WHO'S OUT: For the Bombers, WR Chad Rempel, SB Jamie Stoddard, DB Kelly Malveaux, FB Lenard Semajuste and DB Jazzmen Williams are out with injuries.

Meanwhile, QB Brad Banks, PK Kirk Ylieniemi, DB Anthony Malbrough, DLs Cameron Legault and Jon Oosterhuis, WR Blair Atkinson, S/LB Shawn Gallant, FB Graeme Bell, OLs Jermese Jones, Dominic Picard and Adam Krajewski and LB Neil McKinlay are healthy scratches as the Bombers were only allowed to bring 51 players. Montreal cut DB Greg Moss yesterday and those Als sitting out tonight's match will be: SB Sylvain Girard, KR Ezra Landry, FB Mike Vilimek, WR Dave Stala, DLs Clinton Wayne and Jerome Haywood, DE/LB Kai Ellis, WR Terrence Edwards and CB Thomas Whitfield. WR Ben Cahoon also had minor knee surgery and is not expected to play much.

- TRUE TEST: The Bomber defence will get its first true test as Montreal QB Anthony Calvillo is expected to play at least a half tonight, despite the fact that the Als are dressing all four QBs.

- TRULUCK BACK: The Als welcomed back DE R-Kal Truluck, who spent the last four seasons in the NFL. Truluck will replace Mawuko Tugbenyoh in Montreal -- if he makes the team. "He hasn't been anointed," said head coach Don Matthews. "It's not money in the bank."

- HANGING IN: Winnipeg native Adam Eckert, who had a good game against the Blue Bombers in his hometown last week, survived the first round of cuts and will be in action once again here tonight. Eckert was a 2005 draft pick.

- REPLAY'S REPLAY: The CFL will continue to experiment with instant replay tonight -- despite the objection of Montreal head coach Don Matthews, who made no bones about what he thought about it last week.

- BOMBER BATTLES TO WATCH: These positions are STILL wide open, and the following players are fighting for those spots tonight.

WEAK SIDE LINEBACKER: Donny Green (91), Donnavan Carter (20) and John Sullivan (39).

STRONG SIDE LINEBACKER: Ike Charlton (0), Cedric Dickerson (24).

SAFETY: Robert Grant (40), Ron Ockimey (15) and Ian Logan (31).

DEFENSIVE TACKLE: Ron Warner (94), Dante Booker (96), Hakeem Kashama (93), Dexter Ross (92).
