ANTHONY MALBROUGH

The 5-foot-10, 180-pound veteran import was acquired from Calgary late last season and an injury prevented him strutting his stuff. Has had a solid camp.

KELLY MALVEAUX

The 5-foot-9, 189-pound veteran import has also had a solid camp after being acquired from Montreal for a sixth-round draft pick, which still has many scratching their heads.

STANFORD SAMUELS

The 5-foot-10, 191-pound import made the grade as the dime back last season and has improved this camp to the point where he is being considered as a corner.

GABRIEL FULBRIGHT

The 5-foot-10, 169-pound import has been one of the most pleasant surprises in camp and can also play corner.

JAZZMEN WILLIAMS

The 5-foot-8, 181-pound import was a late addition to training camp but has pleased the coaches thus far.

BRAD FRANKLIN

The 6-foot-1, 191-pound import has returned from last season when he had an up-and-down campaign but has been relatively quiet in camp. Can also play corner.

SIDNEY HAUGABROOK

The 5-foot-10, 185-pound import, who played for Hamilton last season, has speed to burn but is still learning new techniques. Can also play corner.

ROBERT BEAN

The 6-foot, 185-pound import just returned to practice from the injury list yesterday, meaning he has been left well behind the others. Can also play corner.

OVERVIEW

"This is very competitive; when they tee that ball up (tomorrow), we'll see the person that actually shows up," said secondary coach Gregg Butler. "The veteran guys are stepping up, which is good. Then, my younger guys are right behind them ... Malveaux, Malbrough and Samuels have been working their butts off this training camp ... Fulbright, Williams and even Haugabrook has a lot of ability. He's picking it up pretty fast and he's a 4.3 guy. We'll find out when they tee that ball up how they're going to perform."
