Markus Howell plans to hit a few more nightclubs after being scooped up yesterday by the Calgary Stampeders.
The Winnipeg native was hoping to come back to the Blue Bombers, for whom he played from 2000 to 2004, but Calgary was the wide receiver's next choice.
Howell was taken in the second round, 12th overall.
"They've got a dancing group there," Howell said last night. "I'm going to have to go to the club a little more. (Jeremaine) Copeland and (Nik) Lewis, they get down when they get in the end zone."
Meanwhile, the rights of Brandon's Israel Idonije were picked up by the Edmonton Eskimos yesterday, but the former University of Manitoba Bisons star recently signed a multi-million-dollar contract with the Chicago Bears.
