This is the third in a series on The Sun's top 75 Winnipeg Blue Bombers of all time in this their 75th anniversary year. The following are Nos. 46-55:

- 55. Robert Mimbs, RB (1990-92) is a two-time CFL all-star who holds the club record for most rushing yards in a season (1,769 in 1991) and is eighth on the club's all-time rushing yardage list (3,502). Mimbs is also tied for the club's most 100-yard rushing games (10) and is tied for second as the Bomber who has led the CFL in rushing (two). Mimbs also holds the rookie record for most rushing attempts (285).

- 54. Doug (Big Bird) Brown, DL (2001 to present) is also likely a future CFL and Bombers Hall of Famer who won the CFL's award for Most Outstanding Canadian Player in 2001 and is a two-time CFL all-star.

- 53. Juran Bolden, DB (1995, 2000-01) is likely a future Bombers Hall of Famer who was a CFL all-star in 2001. Although he only played three seasons, Bolden is second on the club career pass knockdowns (18).

- 52. Mike Holmes, WR (1977-82) is a Bombers Hall of Famer and two-time CFL all-star, who is 10th on the club's all-time reception list (277).

- 51. Ernie (Old Folks) Pitts (deceased), REC (1957-69) was a split end who scored the second-most points in a single game in club history (30 versus Saskatchewan on Aug. 29, 1959). The Bombers Hall of Famer and five-time all-star is sixth on the club's all-time receiving list with 5,525 yards on 337 receptions (fifth). Pitts is also second on the club's career TD reception list (54).

- 50. Don Jonas, QB (1971-74) is a Bombers Hall of Famer and two-time CFL all-star who won Winnipeg's first Schenley for Most Outstanding Player in '71. Jonas is fifth on the club's list for all-time passing with 12,291 yards and is tied for the most seasons a Bomber QB has led the CFL in passing (two). Jonas is also tied for second for most consecutive 4,000-yard seasons passing (three) and holds the club mark for most interceptions thrown in a season (31). Jonas, who was also a placekicker, once led the CFL in scoring and is 10th on the club's all-time scoring list with 273 points.

- 49. Khari Jones, QB (2000-04) is a future Bombers Hall of Famer who was named the CFL's Most Outstanding Player of 2001. In four short years, Jones moved into second spot on the club's all-time passing list with 20,175 yards. He also holds the club marks for most passing yards in one season (5,334), most consecutive 4,000-yard seasons (four), most consecutive 3,000-yard seasons (four). Jones is also tied for the most seasons a Bomber QB has led the CFL in passing (two), holds single-season club marks for most touchdown passes (46) and completions (382). And he holds the club record for most consecutive games with a passing TD (18).

- 48. Cornell Piper, OG (1957-67) is a Bombers Hall of Famer and two-time division all-star. Piper and Ed Kotowich were among the first pulling guards who opened holes for Leo Lewis et al during the Bombers heyday.

- 47. Elfrid (SWAC) Payton, DE (1990-93, 2000 and 2004) holds the club record for most QB sacks in a season (22) and recorded the second-most sacks in CFL history (154). Payton also leads the Bombers in career tackles for losses (28) and is third in club career sacks (41).

- 46. Gord Rowland, LB (1954-63) is a Bombers Hall of Famer and five-time divisional all-star, who is third in club career interceptions, second in most career punt-return yards (2,495) and highest in punt-return average (11.09).
