TORONTO - By any standard, Ricky Ray did not have a good game Sunday night in the Argos’ 33-17 loss to visiting B.C.

Ray has set the bar so high that anything short of perfection is deemed unacceptable, any throw that ends in a pick six easily falls under the category of the intolerable.

Ray is the epitome of professionalism, never complaining, maintaining an even keel — in good times and bad — that rubs off on his teammates, responsible and accountable.

As Ray goes, so do the Argos, even as the offence tries to adjust to the many injured receivers and the many new faces who have been asked to fill roles.

Three times this season, Ray has thrown more interceptions than touchdowns in a game.
