TORONTO - Mike Bradwell is versatile and dependable, can line up outside and move inside.

He is also savvy and sure-handed.

There’s a lot to like, even though there isn’t anything that Bradwell does that will overwhelm you.

The Argos receiver is not the quickest player on the field, nor will he force defences to account for him, but when a play needs to be made that moves the chains, Bradwell delivers.

“He was a guy I really wanted on this team,’’ said head coach Scott Milanovich. “You win with guys like Mike Bradwell.”

Bradwell was a free agent this off-season contemplating his options when his phone rang.

It was Milanovich on the other end.

“Any time you get a call from the head coach, that’s big,’’ said Bradwell. “I definitely appreciated that.”

In the Argos’ passing offence, there are basically five positions. Bradwell can play four of them.
