Sir Vincent Rogers is back in, while Jarriel King is out as the revolving door continues along the line of scrimmage.

Whether it’s injuries, lack of depth, lack of talent, the situation was so bad last Saturday night in Regina that the Argos had to start rookie Matt Sewell, who had never started a game at the pro level.

In his debut, Sewell had to go up against John Chick, one of the CFL’s best who was wreaking havoc in the Argos backfield.

The Argos tried to run the ball by going with a double tight end set, but it was futile, the offence turning the ball over twice on its first two series, two turnovers the Roughriders would cash into 14 points.

Wayne Smith was eventually inserted at left tackle, a spot Rogers will fill in this Friday in Montreal when he returns from a nagging back injury that kept him out of the Riders game.
