The Argos have hit rock bottom, the depths of their woes laid bare during an unbearable evening in Regina late Saturday night.

In some ways, this franchise hasn’t been this bad since the days of Cleo Lemon masquerading as a quarterback.

It’s bleak, brutal, at times comical, embarrassing and wretched, but, incredibly, not all hope is completely lost because this is the CFL and the East is so bad that not even the bad Argos should not be written off for dead.

They do find themselves dead last in the division, a 1-4 team that has lost three straight. But the consolation, for now anyway, is that no team in the East has more than one win.

The Argos just happen to have more losses, but they do have the best quarterback in Ricky Ray, who had his worst outing since joining Toronto two years ago, a four-turnover fest in a 37-9 beating.
