Four weeks into the season and it would be foolish to make any foregone conclusions about these Argos.

For the record, the team was 1-3 heading into Saturday night’s late-night kickoff against the host Roughriders.

In the three losses, the Argos have combined to commit 51 penalties, while producing the grand total of 197 rushing yards.

For some strange reason, the Argos were playing the back end of a double header on Saturday in one of those oddly timed and poorly planned football days that featured Ottawa playing in Hamilton at 7 p.m.

One of these days, the CFL will realize how little sense it makes to have both of Southern Ontario teams playing on the same day when the Argos are Ticats are best served, ideally and under the right circumstances, by having the spotlight to themselves.
