TORONTO - No offence to Dwight Anderson, but something must be amiss when a proven winner bounces from team to team, division to division as though he’s engaged in a table-tennis event.
His latest stop will now include Toronto, a team that acquired the veteran defensive back on Monday from Saskatchewan, the same team that got whipped by the Argonauts this past Saturday.
In return, the Argos provided the Riders with a conditional pick in next year’s CFL draft.
The Scullers play in Regina later this month and that’ll be it for these two teams unless the league’s past two Grey Cup champs happen to meet in this year’s title game in Vancouver.
For now, the Argos are justifiably grateful to have Anderson on board, even though it remains to be seen where he will line up with the Boatmen.
