LeQuan Lewis would hear people butcher his name so often that he finally asked people to address him as Quan.

So Quan it is from this day moving forward as he continues to put his best foot forward in Argoland.

Lewis, no matter how one cares to call him, has all the physical tools you need to play in the defensive secondary, quick and explosive, athletic and a former receiver who knows how to break to the ball.

He has that natural ability to transition in the secondary, that turn of the hip coaches look for when identifying cover guys, especially in man to man.

As an offensive coach, Scott Milanovich, like any head coach, breaks down weaknesses when game planning for an opposing defence by looking at how defensive backs transition.

“He’s one of the guys I’m looking forward to seeing on Thursday,’’ said the Argos head coach.
