With so many questions that need to be answered, so many areas on both sides of the ball that need to be addressed, it’s virtually impossible to glean anything from one pre-season game.

Even when the Argos complete their two-game exhibition schedule, it’s doubtful every area of concern will be made clearer.

But impressions are made, jobs made a little more secure, players moving up in the depth chart when plays get produced.

Mind you, there weren’t many big plays in Monday’s pre-season opener at Investors Group Field, where the Winnipeg faithful saw some encouraging times.

This fan base, afterall, has been tested the most in the CFL in the last few years when virtually everything has gone wrong, on and off the field.

The Argos are ahead of the curve, but they have issues to deal with and not much time to solve them.
