"As a long-term CFL/Argo fan, I am extremely concerned that the present impasse in contract negotiations will do irreparable damage to the entire league in general and, more specifically, to the Argos, unless a swift resolution is forthcoming.

"My current efforts to attract additional fans to attend games this season are being directly impacted by the uncertainty that blankets the entire schedule, and speaking for other long-time supporters like myself, we feel that both sides need to make a more concerted effort to reach a suitable middle-ground agreement in a timely fashion, rather than risk alienating/eroding the existing fan base of loyal supporters.

"With the unsettled ownership situation, coupled with the lack of a suitable training facility for the coming season, the timing for this latest issue couldn't be worse. Keeping our fingers crossed."
