As negotiations go, those just conducted between Andre Durie and the Argos as the two sides agreed to a three-year extension were the furthest thing from contentious.

Durie wanted to stay with the only professional team he has ever known and the Argos wanted to keep him in double blue.

It was just a matter of getting it done and now Durie will remain an Argonaut for a minimum of three more years.
