TORONTO - Strip away the hype and the hoopla, the X's and O's, the matchups on either side of the ball and whatever schematics the respective coaches have up their sleeves and Sunday's East final comes down to Ricky Ray and his ability to stay clean in the pocket.

Having a healthy Chad Kackert line up in the backfield clearly gave the Argonauts an edge, given his ability to turn a routine handoff into a big gain, not to mention his presence in the locker room.

The Argos defence, while vulnerable in yielding yards, plays and points, is ready to get unleashed under co-ordinator Chris Jones, who will line up athletic pieces capable of doing virtually anything amid so much speculation on what he dials up against the visiting Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

The Argos have a huge edge in the form of Swayze Waters, who was kicking the football in the mould of a Ray Guy all week during practice, attempting field goals from as far as 60 yards and splitting the uprights.
