Jerious Norwood is no stranger to big-time football, not inclined to buckle under the playoff microscope.

The Argos aren't about to tip their hand and no roster decision gets made until the hours leading up to kickoff on Sunday, but it would surprise many if Norwood isn't in the starting backfield in Sunday's East final against the Ticats.

Norwood has looked good in practice, has taken most of the reps and is in great shape, mentally and physically.

When Chad Kackert broke his left ankle last week in practice, a huge hole was created, a void in the locker room that can't be replaced.

On the field, Norwood and Curtis Steele have each started for Kackert this season, different backs who are each expected to be on the 46-man roster, which is revealed on Saturday. But which one starts Sunday?

"We're still deciding on that," Argos head coach Scott Milanovich said.
