In Swayze Waters, the Argos have a weapon who doesn’t even touch the football to make an impact on games.

In Noel Prefontaine, the Argos have a ratio buster who provides the club with the luxury to start an extra import on either side of the ball.

Prefontaine is more experienced, more adept at directional punting and pinning opponents deep with well-placed punts.

In terms of leg strength, Waters is head and shoulders better than Prefontaine at this stage of their respective careers.

Waters made his return last week in Regina after he injured his groin in Toronto’s season-opening win over Hamilton.

Barring an injury, Waters will continue to handle both duties as the Argos head into Calgary this weekend and beyond.

“Overall, I felt I did as well as I could have,’’ began Waters of his return. “I’d like to have that last field goal back. Watching film and going over it, I hit the ball exactly like I wanted to.
