TORONTO - Dirty Dog Nation has been unleashed in Argoland.

The latest, perhaps greatest challenge?

Take a bite out of the Saskatchewan Roughriders on Saturday night. Or run the risk of getting pounded and leaving Mosaic Stadium with their tails between their legs.

They may call themselves Dirty Dogs, but the term was created in good, clean fun, with the purpose of serving as a rallying point for the Argos who work in the trenches up front, manning the defensive line.

"In (training) camp, someone would make a play, you're kinda jealous, you go, 'Ah, man, you Dirty Dog!' It just carried on," Argos defensive end Jonathan Williams explained.
