MONTREAL - Trent Guy is just one guy on an Argos offence that is missing several key guys.

The guy Guy will replace Sunday afternoon is a guy who happened to win last year’s most outstanding player award in the CFL, a guy named Chad Owens.

With Owens nursing bruised ribs and the Argos nursing a bruised ego in the wake of Tuesday’s 20-9 loss to the Als, the visitors are looking for any guy to make any kind of play on offence.

Guy is more than capable, having shown during his time in Montreal that he can step up and emerge as a difference-maker.

Whether it’s in the return game or when lining up at receiver, Guy is expected to get his share of touches as the second half of the CFL season officially begins for both the Als and Argos.

“He’s a big-time professional football player,’’ said Als GM and interim head coach Jim Popp. “We expect he’ll do well. We got to cover ourselves just as if Chad is playing.

“(Trent’s) been a starter and he’s returned kicks for TDs.
