TORONTO - Each time Ricky Ray has been injured during his stint in Double Blue, he would come back and basically pick up where he left off, showing no ill-effects from his absence.

A year ago, a knee injury sidelined Ray for three games.

When he was cleared to play, Ray tossed in excess of 400 yards in a loss to Winnipeg in his return, a setback that would represent the last time the Argos would lose a game en route to winning a Grey Cup title.

When the same left knee was injured earlier this season, Ray missed one game.

In his return in Montreal, Ray was sharp as ever, posting yet another efficient performance that revealed his understanding of the Argos offence and ability to deliver the football.

What the future now holds remains very much in the air for a quarterback who airs it out like no other in the pass-happy CFL.
