WINNIPEG - It was almost too good to be true, far too easy with absolutely no signs of any impending doom.

Along comes an innocuous play in a blowout game and the fate of the Argos now rests on the status of Ricky Ray’s left knee, the same knee he injured last season in Montreal, a setback that cost Ray a month.

What unfolded Friday night didn’t seem as painful and potentially not as impactful, but any time Ray is seen crumpled on the turf and later wrapped in ice is never encouraging.
