Ricky Foley wears his emotions on his sleeves, pulls no punch and leaves everything out on the field.

He has endured a lot during his football career and has been forced to deal with even more issues away from the gridiron.

Admittedly, Thursday night will be unlike any other night for the veteran defensive lineman.

The last time he played a game at the Rogers Centre, the Argos were being presented with the Grey Cup, the historic 100th title game no less, and Foley was being feted as its top Canadian.

Foley is no longer in Double Blue, sporting the iconic Green and White while carrying the hopes of an entire Rider Nation.

As the Riders were making their way from Pearson and along the Gardiner, Foley couldn’t help but look in the distance and see the dome.

A short walk from the facility is the condo Foley rented, a place he briefly dropped by to reminisce with friends.
