Half time will have a different connotation for Cleo Lemon and Dalton Bell this weekend.

Argonauts head coach and general manager Jim Barker confirmed the two men embroiled in the fight to be the Argos' No. 1 quarterback this season will get two quarters apiece on Saturday versus the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in Toronto's first pre-season game.

"That's the plan going in," Barker said on Tuesday. "I want it to be as even as possible so we can really make an evaluation in terms of where they are."

Though it's not clear yet who will start against the Ticats, neither Bell nor Lemon cares. They just want to play against people other than their teammates.

"I'm so ready for Saturday," Bell said. "I'm tired of playing against our guys. They're figuring out our plays."

Lemon concurred.

"It makes it a little tougher to execute consistently because they know what we are doing," Lemon said.
