TORONTO - Concussions in sport are a touchy subject and Argonauts head coach Jim Barker felt it necessary to clarify a move he made during the weekend when wide receiver James Robinson re-entered the game against Edmonton after getting his bell rung.

"I probably should explain to you guys the protocol when you get a head injury," Barker said unprompted during his post-practice media scrum. "When a guy comes off the field and he feels like he got dinged, the protocol is that he sits for 10 minutes and then they exercise him heavily and if at that time he has no symptoms, then he's OK to go back in the game."

That is what happened with Robinson, who was symptom-free when he went back in the game on Sunday in Moncton.

"There are different degrees of concussions," Barker explained.

Robinson did not take part in practice on Tuesday.
