Ricky Foley didn't have an inkling when he went to get more, well, ink.
The newest Argonauts defensive end has upward of 30 tattoos, but got a couple of special ones the most recent time he was in the artist's chair during the off-season.
On Foley's right biceps is a tattoo of the skyline of Toronto, his hometown, and includes depictions of the Rogers Centre and CN Tower. On Foley's left biceps is a tattoo that depicts the skyline of Vancouver.
"I had it planned for a while," Foley, whose family lives in Courtice, Ont., said. "I just got one to represent where I was born and one for where I got my career going."
Did he have a vision he would one day call the Rogers Centre home when he got the tattoo? Foley signed with the Argos on Tuesday night after giving serious consideration to returning to the B.C. Lions following brief stints with the Seattle Seahawks and the New York Jets.
"Probably not because I was doing the NFL thing," Foley said with a smile.
