TORONTO - In Jim Barker’s mind, two is a nice number.

While many Argonauts fans wonder whether two games will be enough for the Argos head coach to evaluate his players, Barker says not to worry.

“Two is plenty,” Barker said.

“I’m ready to start the season. We are ready to play a game. I like the way the schedule is.”

Veterans usually don’t like training camp because the monotony drags on with no real breaks. Playing against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on Sunday at the Rogers Centre, and then visiting the Montreal Alouettes on Saturday for their final pre-season game, will provide something a lot different.

“Our guys are ready to go, hit someone else,” Barker said. “It’s important to see guys play.”
