Former Kansas City Chiefs receiver Jeffery Webb has been signed by the Argonauts.
A 2006 draft pick by Kansas City, Webb played in 16 of 18 games in 2007, making 28 catches for 313 yards and one touchdown. He also returned kicks, gaining 204 yards on 10 returns.
Webb, a 28-year-old native of Pontiac, Mich., did not play last season after the Chiefs released him in August. In 2008, the San Diego State grad played in four games.
