Argonauts sign reality star
Defensive back on 4th and Long

TORONTO -- Ahmaad Smith should fit right in with the drama that is the Toronto Argonauts.

The Argos on Friday signed the defensive back, who was a quarter-finalist in Michael Irvin's reality TV show 4th and Long last year.

Smith attended training camp with the B.C. Lions in 2008, after playing four seasons of football and basketball at Tennessee State.

Smith's godfather is former Chicago Bear Richard Dent.

As for the saga that is the Argos ownership issue, it is expected to be resolved next week, with David Braley taking over David Cynamon and Howard Sokolowski.
