DUVAL SETS RECORD
Alouettes kicker Damon Duval set a CFL record for scoring in a single season when he kicked a 42-yard field goal in the fourth quarter. That gave Duval 239 points for 2009, breaking the mark of 236 set by the Argonauts' Lance Chomyc in 1991. Duval also broke the Als club record of 220 points, set by Terry Baker in 2000. And another of Duval's seven field goals was his 52nd of the season, snapping his team record of 51, done in 2006.
FLU HITS
The flu bug caught up with the Argos this week, as special teams stalwarts Jason Pottinger and James Green did not play because of the illness, but it was not known whether they had been diagnosed with H1N1. Quarterback Stephen Reaves had chest congestion, but got through it to make his first CFL start.
PINBALL IN HALL
The break between the first and second quarters featured a video tribute to the 2009 Ontario Sports Legends Hall of Fame inductees. Into the Hall this year from the CFL are Michael (Pinball) Clemons and Doug Flutie.
